Post Groom and GM attire

Recommended Posts

My FI just bought a Ralph Lauren suit this weekend during the tax free shopping weekend so with that and the major sales that were going on he saved like $300!! The suit is a light tan and he is going to wear a white button up shirt underneath. We havent discussed if he is wearing shoes yet. I am goin barefoot but I feel like he will want to wear flip flops. We shall see!!

Did your Old Navy pants come in yet? I tried to find them in the store and there were none left, but I will order them online if you think they are decent. They are on sale for around $15... Looking to pick some up so FI has them for dinner down there..

Are you against him wearing sneakers?  I like the idea if they are a fun colour or something and true to his personality... I think it looks good but if its not your vision.....

I was able to check out he pants in store and they looked great to me.  They are really nice and FI and I liked them a lot better than the le chateau ones.  He is coming home for lunch so I will get him to try them on just to see how they fit... I can post a picture!  We also ordered the long sleeve navy button ups.  I had already purchases some from mexx but these are a more casual look so I'll have him try it on and see!

We ordered some old navy linen pants earlier this summer for our trip to Mexico for him to wear to the a la cartes. He had been before and was stuck wearing regular dress pants, and says the linen old navy ones are SO much better. He really liked them and looked great! I think this is definitely the way to go if you are after the linen look. Super comfortable, they look great, and you cannot beat the price. We will be doing this for the wedding for sure!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
