Hi Beaches.. The shirts are linen. I too was originally looking for something with purple embroidery but had a very hard time finding anything that I liked, then I came across these palm tree shirts and loved them! For me, the palm trees outweigh matching the GM to the BM :)

My FI is so stubborn. He is convinced he is wearing a classic black Tux, but I want him to wear khaki pants and a white shirt. He thinks he will be too casual next to me and my wedding gown. Maybe that JCrew grey suit will be a happy medium for the 2 of us!

Thanks for the ideas! I've got my fingers crossed, hoping he will go for it :)

Thanks Jamie!

I know, it is tough... my hubby didn't want to order online and he didn't want linen.  We waited until the summer here in Toronto and got all of the suits as they were being marked down.  Paul (my hubby) got his suit from Tip Top Tailors at 50% off in mid-July.

If you're will to wait until the summer, you might be able to find some light grey suits also.  My dad got his suit in light grey from Stars, also in the summer.

Best of luck!  :)

We talked about my FI wearing a grey suit to go with our colors but when he tried one on we didn't think it really suited him well (pardon the pun, lol!). He looks good in darker colors so tan suits were out of the question. The suit we decided on is black with faint grey pin-stripes and looks great on him! Unfortunately he won't let me take pictures of him in the suit (I can't see how he's going to look just like he is not going to see how I look, lol) so I'll have to sneak a picture of just the suit at some point. wink.gif He'll probably wear a blue shirt and I'll leave the tie choice up to him. cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
