HELP - Info to put in Passport Invites!

Recommended Posts

Hi Ladies - I need your help!!

My FI and I are getting married in Jamaica and I'm sooooo excited! We are going to use the passport invitations -- I think they are so cute and not too overdone (yet!).

I have about 4 pages of text to fill up, and I'm not sure what other people put there! Did you put information about yourselves? The ceremony? I don't know. I'm sure this sounds pretty dumb, but I've never seen one up close and personal, so I really have no idea what info I should put in there!

Thanks in advance for all of your help... : )

I would put information about the venue/hotel where your guests will be staying, your arrival and departure dates so everyone knows what dates to travel on, your wedding website, passport tips (like where to get one, and to renew it if it expires within the 6 months prior to travel). I've seen some people put a map of their destination site (map of Jamaica in this instance). I think I've also seen people list their wedding party. Good luck designing those, it should be fun!

Thanks Christy for your suggestions! I know it should be fun...but my beloved FI just "likes whatever I like" (LOL), and between this and work and life...it just feels like more work!! But once I get the ball rolling it should be great!

Jess I did a search, but I think that I am using the search features wrong, because I am not getting anything relevant. I did "passport invitations" and got nada, and I did "passport" and got a whole lot....of stuff about passports! I will keep looking for more info. : )

What to pack or Wedding Dress Code

Daily group activities

Itinerary

An “about us†or “how we met†page

Wedding website and contact info

Travel Agent information

Travel Tips

Ground Transfer Info

Rehearsal Info

Wedding Day Info

Reception Info

Passport Requirements

Hope that helps!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
