Hi - I have been looking at different All inclusives for my wedding this coming spring 2010, and my travel agent mentioned the Gran Porto Real. It looks really nice to me, but I haven't heard a lot of wedding reviews from there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I am choosing both the Royal Playa Del Carmen and Gran Porto Real for my guests. The latter for people with kids and on a tighter budget.

I'm a fairly newbie to the forum and also haven't seen a whole lot of reviews for the Royal or Gran Porto, there are some out there though.

 

We are planning on having our wedding at the Royal but the Gran is literally right next door so guests will be staying there as well. We had a site visit on a trip to Mexico in March and they are both BEAUTIFUL!!! If I knew how to put pics up, I would share them with you as we took many of the grounds!! And, as a plus, the WC at the Royal is so easy to get in touch with and she responds by e-mail very quickly....

You will need a civil wedding for it to be legal when you return home. We also offer symbolic ceremonies with a minister or a priest. In order to schedule a wedding for you we need to know the following information:

Desired wedding date

Number of guests attending

Desired wedding time

Hotel of choice

Type of wedding you’re looking for (civil or religious)

 

 

Please remember that the Religious Wedding is not legal when you return home. The Religious wedding is a ceremony that our brides and grooms often choose after getting married at home! If you wish to have a Civil marriage you will need to arrive 3 business days prior to the wedding.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
