Contemplating a Disney Wedding...

I was also considering a Hyundai Tiburon --cute, but not too pricey (at the time, a fully loaded one was about $20k). The guy at the dealership was nice, and he set me up for a test drive. When I returned, he was busy helping someone else, but he asked another associate to follow up with me. This chick gave me the biggest "Oh honey, don't you want to look for a car that's more in your price range" attitude. I was so pissed off that even though I liked the car, I didn't buy it there. When the nice sales guy called me up to see if I was coming back, I explained to him what happened and told him that there is NO WAY I would purchase a vehicle from them after that. I ended up finding a Cougar with less than 10k miles on it, which is what I really wanted anyway.

Moral of the story: Just because we're young, doesn't mean we don't have money. If it's out of our price range, WE will tell YOU, so don't tell us what we can't afford.

It's stories like this that make me sick. It's absolutely disgusting how young people get treated. They either try to upsell and take us for every cent we have, or they think we're poor and sell us the cheapest piece of crap available. I could rant for DAYS about this lol Good for you standing up for yourself, and I bet they don't judge young people anymore.

Well now I feel stupid... I actually started a "Wish Book" on disneyweddings.go.com and it tells me exactly how much everything will cost, I can add on or subtract whatever I want. Now I feel stupid lol

Haha! Well I can't change my marital status until after I graduate, and as you can tell by my sig, that's a while away. So it'll be 2011 at the earliest, possibly 2012. I can't wait to start planning either, I already have a Disney resort in mind, along with a dress, and the rings, and my shoes, and the flowers I want, and... It's so damn far away! lol

But what I want to start doing at the Disneymoon is to find a good place to get our picture takein, then every year when we go back to disney we will take a picture in the same location, and when the little ones start to appear it will just be cute to have the Disney line up

I'm late getting to this, but am so excited that you are doing a Disney wedding! I'm slightly addicted to the DisBoards' wedding forum, the brides have such great ideas...almost as good as the brides here!

 

We honeymooned in Disney and had the time of our lives. I'm hoping for a Disney vow renewal for our 25th...we'll see what happens.

I read through one of the girls' planning journals on the Dis the other night, 35 or so pages, took me the WHOLE night, and now I'm REALLY excited for our wedding lol I don't think I can last until 2011 lol So I can definitely understand the addiction, because I have it too.
