Hello ladies! My name is Tara and I'm a MN native. My fiance's name is Ben and we're getting married on the beautiful island of Isla Mujeres Mexico in April '10. I vacationed there in 2001 and it was so beautiful. I loved every moment of it.... so much that I chose it for our destination to get married at next year. We're staying at the Cabanas Maria del Mar. Its a very nice hotel located right on north beach. For me, after reading everything I possibly could from hotel ratings to women that have gotten married on the island and stayed there, it was the best choice for me. Our wedding planner has a tight relationship with the hotel owner so it made perfect sense.

Hi Tara! Congratulations! I'm thinking of getting married on Isla in January 2010, but haven't picked a wedding planner yet. I'm debating among Sundreams (Sabina), Sunhorse (Katie) and Papillon Weddings (Juliette). Who are you using, and are you happy with them so far?

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
