Hey Gals...

Ok so I have a little confusion! I had my STD magnets made through Vista! Came out great! They say our names date and website! So do I need to send anything with them stating how to book? I am just scared people will get them and not know what to do with them! Does anyone have any suggestionshuh.gif HELPPP

xoxo

I used the great idea from another bride on the forum and included a information letter with my STDs. The letter basically spelled out specific details about the wedding and directed them to our website (which provides even more details) and also gave them our contact info. I also included the travel info that I received from my travel agent.

that's a great idea to add a little informative letter. the more information the better. you always want to take into account the folks you have (if any, these days) that won't be visiting your website often because they aren't too tech savvy. there are tons of great templates on here for letters.

maybe make a little travel brochure or something in addition to the STD?

...or you could keep it totally simple for the STDs and just wait until the invites go out to really lay a hardcopy of the info out there. smile78.gif

I think a cover letter to go with the magnets is a great idea! And the gals are right, not everyone is tech savvy, so a hard copy would definitely ensure that your guests are aware of how to go about booking things.

Hey Bethany-- so I was worried about people not having the internet or not getting the right info- and we wanted them to know right off that kids were welcome, so I printed out little "info cards" on cardstock (2 info cards per sheet of cardstock so I could still use cute little envelopes I had already bought). This is the info I included, and I attached the template (it's for a 6.5"x4.5" cardstock). Oh and my magnets were Vistaprint too :) This is the link to them: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t38223 Good luck!!

I also did a letter detailing all of the information that people would need as everyone is not computer savvy enough to look at the website. I think that it's a great idea to do so... We just bought beach stationary at Staples and printed up a detailed letter to go with it; it only cost us the cost of the paper for letter; the $$ for the magnets and postage.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
