Well, in response to part of it (how are people feeling a couple of months away), I can answer that one.

I'm about to lose my mind, but seriously.

Work keeps me so busy that I don't have time for the wedding stuff. I feel like the time with my nine year old son has been seriously affected by the wedding planning. I had hoped to have everything done by now and just sit around on my one day off week and lay by the pool and work on my pretan, but that's not happening. No OOT bags yet, no welcome letters, no thank you cards made, heck, I'm still not fully registered (my shower is on Saturday, thank you).

I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned so they'd be all purty and it turns out I need a mouthful of work done. Not to mention that since the visit two weeks ago, one of my wisdom teeth broke and so now I have to get my wisdom teeth removed. Before the wedding. The dentist stuff is around $1K even with insurance.

I hate my job and started crying there the other day and called and begged the FH to let me quit and support me (of course he would, but of course I would NEVER let him).

So there's my (non)blog rant. Sorry, couldn't wait for the non-bug version to be released!

Back to it...

Laura

(oh, and P.S. my seamstress is charging $140 to make like three little alterations to my dresses. Seems ridiculous, right?)

If I can blog any thought right now I just want to say to Kelly that I never get tired of seeing Liam's adorable face. I just want to eat him up in pieces. Okay sorry I realize that you never met me in person and that just came off really creepy in a cyber perve kind of way. Sorry I just love kids. blush2.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
