Hi,

 

My name is Shakira and I am getting married July 26, 2008 at ClubHotel Riu, Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

 

I am already booked and ready to go.

 

Any ideas or tips from you lovely brides is greatly appreciated.

Since you already have picked your location and your date, do you have your save the dates done? make sure to share!!!

Welcome! I'm a RIU Cabo bride, my best advice ~ be patient with the RIU.

Welcome. I am a Riu Cabo bride. Believe me the communication is a little slow in the beggining however it will all work out. I visited the Club Riu Hotel in Jamaica in December 2005. It had just opened and we had a blast. I love that resort and the beaches are beautiful. The Jerk Hut is great! All the restaurants and grounds are gorgeous. I would post some pics but I cannot figure it out. If I do I will post them.

Yes this is Shakira from trip advisor and thanks for posting this website there for people like me who have no clue when it comes to wedding planning (especially destination weddings).

 

Thank you guys for welcoming me so openly. I realize that it can be a crazy wait when working with Chandlyn from Riu Ocho Rios. I sent her a email about a week ago questioning her about the Plantation restaurant costs and she still has not replied. It's ok, I am definitely trying to be patient.

 

Yes I have completed my save-the-dates and mailed them out already.

 

 

Any tips or advice will be helpful, Let me know

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
