I feel so yucky. I'm getting some serious waxing done on Wednesday, but that means everything has to be long enough to wax. Ugh, I feel like a hairy, overgrown ape right now. I never thought I'd be dying to shave my legs!

Oh gosh Kristy! Isnt that the worst feeling!! I get that way sometimes in the winter when i'm lazy and dont shave my legs LOL

Are you getting everything done at once??

I regular get my eyebrows waxed and bikini waxes.. but I've never gotten anything else! I've always wanted to try the legs before a vacation or something but I was scared of how much it was hurt. Let us know how it goes!!

Here's my list:

Eyebrows

Upper lip

Brazilian

Full leg

Under arms

I've done the first three, but not the last two. I hear under arms kills. Good thing it's a small area! I just don't want to have to shave while we're away. Needless to say though, I'm not looking forward to waxing day on Wednesday .

I'm in the same boat! Just waiting..... why the heck does it feel like the hair on my legs grows super fast when I'm shaving but when I'm waiting for it to grow it it just stopshuh.gif

I've never had waxing (other than eyebrows) before so I'm going to start with legs and bikini...I'll see how it goes....I'd like to do full body before the trip but I figured I'd work up to it first :-)

I'm getting a bikini wax next Sunday and it's driving me crazy! I can totally understand where you are coming from. I did my legs once and decided not to do them again. It was terrible growing them out and very itchy and uncomfortable and then after the wax they hurt because the skin was so sensitive so I just figured shaving my legs was better. I still absolutely get the bikini wax because that is so nice! I've done my underarms a few times and that's nice but it is painful but of course only temporary pain. Good Luck, it'll be totally worth it to be all hair free. I'm not sure how fast your hair grows but you might want to bring a razor with you for the little bit that grows back while you're there.

Ugh, that reminds me-- I desperately need to schedule a bikini wax! TMI, but Aunt Flo came later than expected so I haven't been able to make the appt. And we leave on Thursday!

I do not have enough patience to grow out my leg, underarm and eyebrow hair though! I shave & tweeze that ish myself. cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
