Two sites that arent much discussed here (seems Dreams is the most popular resort for weddings)...

 

I previously stayed at the Crowne Plaza this time last year and FH & I really loved it! I am heavily considering having our wedding at this resort, but would also like some opinions from brides that have had a wedding there...if there are any on this website :/

 

Also, any recent information/opinions on the Presidente Intercontinental?

I have photographed weddings at many and varied locations in Los Cabos so this might add a little weight to my opinion of Crowne Plaza. However I have only photographed one wedding @ CP. I found myself VERY involved with the coordination between the hotels wedding planner (of the day) and the wedding couple (mostly the bride!). The bride was not getting any answers just a couple of days before the wedding and she was justifiably upset, so I stepped in to help her out. I Just didn't feel that the level of caring and professionism was intact. I kept waiting for the next 'we think we can' instead of 'it will happen' for reasonable requests.

 

To the hotels credit the wedding went smoothly, it was just all the unnecessary 'two-step' before.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
