Alright girls ... so I'm sitting here in a mess of a house, my bags are bulging and there are still things to pack. I'm just NOW putting songs on my iPod and trying to decide what I want to walk down the aisle to ... and I get on a plane TOMORROW.

 

Anyways, enough bitching ... I can't believe that just 11 short months ago my hubby-to-be dropped to one knee and asked me to be his wife! Since then it's been non-stop!!! And I would have no wedding whatsoever if it wasn't for you girls ... every single one of you ... THANK-YOU. BDW has been a life-saver. I love you all!!!

 

So here's where it all began:

 

From there it was on to the wedding dress (naturally) ... here's the last fitting pic I have, there was still work to be done at this point. It's Mori Lee and I believe it's a discontinued model now ...

We found our sand ceremony kit at Pier 1 and bought each vase separately (the two smaller ones were $20 CDN each and the larger middle one was $30 CDN) ... I'm just going to use double-sided tape to attach the colored ribbon and add a bit of bling with the diamond sticky things:

 

Oh and I don't know about the ceremony locale or anything yet because we have to choose when we get there to Melia Cayo Guillermo in Cuba ... however, I do now what dinner will look like (sorry I'm so all over the place with this *sigh* I swore I'd have an organized planning thread LOL):

 

As for the OOT bags we know our guests are bringing a lot of their own things as they are all veteran all-inclusive travelers, so we had to think a bit outside the box. In Cuba, the thing you want most is SNACKS so we added quite a few of those, then metal water bottles for the boys, pashminas for the girls and various activities, post-its for leaving notes and a pen and bug wipes because our wedding dinner is outdoors:

Oh, I have a welcome letter in my OOT bag and I borrowed a few ideas from you ladies on here ... sorry I don't know who exactly! If anyone wants the file, just send me a message and I'd be happy to send it over!!

 

I have one flower girl and she gets her own special OOT bag, she's also the only kid going on the trip so she's getting spoiled:

 

We FINALLY chose an iPod dock and picked it up today ... the sound is AWESOME. It's the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere and the best part is it has a rechargeable battery so we can bring it to the beach!!

 

I didn't take a pic of our wedding bands ... sorry ... oh and I did a BD shoot you can see some shots of that here.
