Website: California Resorts : Bacara Resort & Spa - Santa Barbara

On the website you can download the catering menus which includes pricing, as well as submit a wedding inquiry. I used to work there, so feel free to PM me with any questions and I will try my best to answer or find the answer.

They have an incredible Spa (2nd largest in California) which you can use even if you aren't a guest. They have some really delicious restaurants on site, including a Spa Cafe, which is right next door to the Spa and Spa Pool. I highly recommend you check out the Spa if you are in Santa Barbara. They also have a salon if you want to have a massage and get your hair done for any pre-wedding events. The Spa menu including pricing can be downloaded on their website.

PREPARING FOR YOUR ARRIVAL

Bacara Resort & Spa is nestled on the Gaviota coast between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains on a 78-acre coastal bluff unique to California. Due to our coastal location, we experience wonderful, mild weather year round with average daily temperatures ranging between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit. While this is convenient for engaging in daytime activities, we often have cool nights and do occasionally have mornings with overcast skies, known as the Marine Layer. When packing for a trip to Bacara, it is always recommended that you plan on layering your clothing. We have put together the following list to assist you in packing all of the necessary items. Please remember to plan ahead if you are arriving to the area by plane or train, as arranging transportation to the Resort will be necessary. For those who will be traveling in GPS equipped vehicles, Bacaraâ€s coordinates are: Latitude 34.432491 Longitude -119.908750. Remember that regardless of how you arrive, getting here will be well worth the trip.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
