    Hello all,
I have recently (Monday) been laid off from my job because of the Chrysler issues in the US and Canada. I am looking for some moral support and maybe some ways to get my wedding plans done on the cheap.
My fiance is working hard as we are paying for this ourselves but it is gonna be tight to get all piad for and fon't want to cancel.
    thanks,
    Tamasin

Sorry to hear that. I was laid off last May from a biopharma company, within a few months I am happy to say I found a new job. It's tough but I hope you still get the wedding of your dreams!

So sorry to hear that. We are on the tight budget too and we bought shopped around for great deals on EVERYTHING. Not getting carried away was the hardest thing for me. You can still plan a wonderful wedding with a tight budget.

Please feel free to PM when you need finding a specific item.

              Best of luck,
              Susana

                    Hi Tamasin,
I'm really sorry to hear about what you are going through.
My fiancĀ© got laid off in January, 6 weeks after we decided we were doing a destination wedding. In the end I'm glad we are doing this, it will end up cheaper than if we had had a wedding here. He still hasn't found a job, but is doing a lot of the organizing for the wedding, so it has been a big help.
Best of luck, and PM me if you would like to chat more.
                    Chantal
