Recommended Posts

Hello everyone - I am getting married in January at the ROR - can you tell me something... I chose the gazebo - and I know theres also the beach.... but do you have a gazebo on the beach too or where is the gazebo? what did you future brides pick and what do you experiences (who have been there) brides suggest?

Thanks :)

Hi Cheryl, have you searched thru the ROR threads? I know that a few things you posted about today have been discussed at length already, so if possible, do a search and then post in the original thread. When there are so many different threads discussing the same things, it makes it very hard to gather any information, so we try to keep them in one thread.

There are 2 gazebos, a pond gazebo & a gazebo on the beach. If you do a search for ROR, you'll see a thread that has pictures of both.

Your location depends on what you're looking for. If you want to actually get married on the beach & be in the sand and near the ocean then the beach gazebo or the using the area to the side of the beach gazebo, would be ideal for you.

If you're not interested in being in sand or having the ocean as your backdrop, then the pond gazebo could work for you. One of the hotel buildings is actually right behind the pond gazebo, so that would be your backdrop.

Both are very nice but its just a matter of what you are looking for.

We chose to get married on the beach but did not use the beach gazebo & had an arch instead.

Definitely search the threads so that you can get an idea of all of your options!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
