I have thought very hard of whether or not to have a wedding party...there are several reasons for the thoughts. From the uneven numbers to the small wedding and really wanting to avoid costs for myself and my friends. My friends are important to me and I want to include them, but I don't know how and want to be creative. I have thought about them passing me a flower as i walk down the isle(to form my bouquet), but that may be too much? HELP any ideas would be fantastic!!!!

I think the flower idea is really original. You can do whatever you like..you're the bride!

But maybe you should give us a little more background. Uneven numbers isn't really a big deal. A lot of us gals have that (I've got five girls, my FH is only having his bro stand up with him). How many friends are you trying to include? And if they are going to be there ANYway, what about having them select a dress they can afford in a style they like and want to wear again, you just pick the color? The biggest expense is just getting there, I think you can avoid heaping too much additional expense on them if you keep the attire low cost. If thats not the route you want to go, I'm sure there are lots of ways to include them...just need a lil' more background, especially numbers.

i didn't have a bridal party, but I still gave my would-be-bridesmaids and honorary bridesmaid gift. It was an album full of pictures of us. The cover had a picture of their heads superimposed on funny bridesmaid pictures.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
