Looking for cute ways to include pics of DW

Recommended Posts

Thanks for letting me know... I just went to Target and they didn't have any frames! I did end up buying a 4x6 unfinished wooden frame at Michael's for $1 that I'm going to spray paint white and hot glue a starfish to it. I am planning to do a practice one before buying all of the frames so I'll have to post a picture for opinions.

We want to play the video of our wedding at the Reception, and I am going "make my entrance" and having my dad and grandpa walk me in the room, because they wont be there to walk me down the aisle. We were also thinking about having some pictures blown up and put up around the reception site. As for a guest book, we are going to have a picture from the wedding matted and have everyone sign it. Then we will get it framed and hang it up in our house!

Just got back from my wedding and forgot to do the table number pics! It was a nice idea, but easier said than done. Dang! Woulda been cute. Maybe we'll just stick some pics in the flower arrangements, I like that idea. We'll also blow up one big one to put on the easel at the entrance of the recption site and show our video as well as have a slideshow running all night in another area where the aquarium is.

My table "numbers" were made from pictures... well actually it was not numbers, I gave my tables names, but for the numbers you could for instance put pics of you at age 1, age 2, etc.

I'm not sure to understand how you cna have pictures of your wedding already done to make table numbers for your wedding ? I might have missed something here.

Anyway, I did not want to do frames, so I did a bit of crafting. I got some cardboard and nice pattern paper and made up some table numbers. I used photo holders to make them stand. They looked like this :

I did the same with scavenger hunt I could make them match :

Not sure if it answers your original question ?

  • 2 weeks later...

We are making a CD slideshow of pics from our DW and adding in pics of family and friends, etc. We are planning to play it on a big screen during dinner, and the DJ is going to play some corresponding dinner music. I'm hoping this will be a way to share our pics with everyone, and stimulate conversation.

We're going to play our DVD and have a slideshow of the wedding week running in the background during the reception. Many of our guests were unable to make it, so we are incorporating photos from the whole week as opposed to just the wedding day.

Our AHR is a BBQ picnic theme (we wanted to keep it really low-key and casual) so we are doing red and white checkered table clothes, and my sister is making us picture frames out of cutlery, and we will display wedding photos in them as centerpieces.

I love this thread-- so many great ideas!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
