Looking for cute ways to include pics of DW

Recommended Posts

I found brushed silver frames in sets of 10 (with 3 different sizes) at target online. Here's the link: 10 pc Silvertone Frame Box Set : Target

I use two per table as a centerpiece and incorporated our leftover fans and programs with them as well as candles - I was really happy with them. The quality of the frame is not the best, but for basically $3 a frame after shipping and tax, price could not be beat and they worked out great.

i love the idea of taking pictures holding numbers! i have never heard of that before and i think im gonna have to borrow that idea! Thanks!

we are also planning on having a projection screen at the AHR...actually it will play back the original ceremony from the DW, and just after we say "i do" the screen will begin to roll back up with us standing behind it as our entrance!

Hi,

Depending on how formal your AHR is, here are 2 ideas...

Blow up about 5-6 of your best wedding photos, get matching frames, and arrange them on a table by the front door of the venue, with maybe some votive candles and a centerpiece and decorate the top of the table with rose petals? (maybe thats going overboard but I can be a martha stewart clone sometimes)

or

Get a foam posterboard and get some scrapbook paper from Micheals or Ac Moore that is wedding themes. Glue enough of the sheets (probably about 6-cool.gif to cover the board in different paterns. Then glue about a dozen 4x6 photos at different angles on top. And you can decorate the margins with glitter, or those cool scrapbook stickers, or even glue lace around the sides of the board. You can make it look very classy and elegant, and prop it up somewhere at the party. If you do this, don't forget those awesome coupons in the sunday flyers for these stores, and use a permanant glue stick.

I actually may do both of these ideas. Good luck

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
