Vow help...

Recommended Posts

I'm still working on my vows. Please let me know which one you like..

Vow #1

Cain, when we met, I never knew that my life was about to change, and that I would find my soul mate, my best friend. I will never forget the day I knew I was in love with you. I have learned to enjoy each day as it comes, you have always been there to pick me up when I'm down regardless of the situation. I look forward to the day when we see our kids being born, loosing their first tooth, going to their first day of school, and eventually getting married and having kids of their own, we have done so much together and shared so many wonderful memories together and yet we have a lifetime of memories that are awaiting us. I know we will live joyously, laugh freely and always be supportive of one another throughout our marriage and its triumphs and trials. I pledge before our friends and family to accept you as my partner above all others and cherish you forever as my husband and best friend for the rest of our lives.

Vow #2

I, Tammy, choose you, Cain, to be my husband, my partner, my friend, my confidant, and my soul mate.

Together, we will be better than we could be alone

Though life may not always be as perfect as it is at this moment, I vow to always keep my love as pure as it is today. I promise to be there for you in your laughter and your tears, in your sickness and your health, in your comfort and your fears, in your poverty and your wealth. I know that our love is heaven sent, and I promise to be there for you for all your life, come what may.

Vow #3

Cain, I love you with all my heart.

You are my one and only, my rock, and my inspiration.

It seems like only yesterday that we started our lives together and allowed our love to bloom.

I knew in my heart that we were meant to be together.

My love for you is never ending and I cherish every second we are together.

And I will continue to cherish our love forever and never take it for granted.

Nothing can, or ever will change these feelings deep inside of me.

And I most look forward to growing old with you in the many years to come, till death do us part.

Your guests are going to cry. I'm totally teary eyed!

I like a combo of #1 and 3. I love the part about seeing your kids grow up, and the part about how you've already been through so much but you still have so much more to experience together.

So, I vote you add that into number 3 and call it a day

I voted for #2. I like the simplicity of it - yet it also shows individuality and your love for him. I think that last line is really sweet and I could see you and everyone in the crowd choking up at it. But honestly they're all great. I like the last one you put up too.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
