oh man, you're so lucky ... i would have been paranoid about him hating one that looked like my dress (although the same dress can look entirely different on different people)! FI has already made fun of someone's hair that was styled the way i had been planning on for the wedding--SCRAP THAT!

I love that show but sometimes i'm shocked at how much those girls pay for their wedding dresses. I personally find it hilarious when the little princesses find out that the wedding dress they want and have to have will not work out.. There are too many little Veruca Salts out there

I just about died when I was watching last nights episode...the price of this girls dress was $24,500.00!!!! *GASP* I mean her parents talked them down to $15,000.00 for the sample but still! These prices are what people pay for their entire weddings!!! However, I will admit, if I had the moolah...I too might spend a mini fortune for the dress of my dreams. I just love how much these girls glow when they "say yes to the dress"...no matter what the price. I LOVE this show!

I also love that show! FI bared with me and would occasionally watch it... BUT one day this girl comes on with a dress with rouching (sp?) and I"m like "oh shit!" ~ funny thing is the only thing FI knows about my dress is that it has "asymmetrical rouching" (which he of course has NO CLUE what that means!). It just slipped out of my MOH's mouth when she saw it (she's a fashion designer so that's her lingo! lol) and FI heard it and has teased me ever since. But when the girl tried that dress on on SYTTD I couldn't just change it all of a sudden cause then he would think that's what mine looked like - I just silently prayed that she wouldn't say it.. but then it came out - the "R" word! And FI's eyes bugged out of his head and he looked at me like "SEE! We can't watch that show - I don't want to find out what yours looks like!!" LOL Of course that is such a general term, and the dress of course wasn't exactly like mine, just made for a funny moment wink.gif

Best show ever (or at least top ten) I made the FI watch it with me last Friday (the one where the girl had to have her $24500 dress). Perfect episode for him to watch! He took one look at that dress, looked at me and said, very cautiously, so how much is your dress? When I said it was less then 2000 he was pretty much ready to do cartwheels. There's one conversation over the budget I don't have to worry about :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
