erika, love the pics and the dress and shoes, and i especially heart that WE are your favorite ladies to shop with! :)

finzup, very good advice overall ... we are all so quick to be negative about ourselves and put ourselves down! small (daily) positive thoughts are key in fixing our self-esteem and learning to love ourselves. (i'm 37 too and have been all over the map weight-wise as well). the most important thing is to love yourself enough to consider yourself WORTH getting healthier! we all DESERVE to be happy and if we can't make ourselves see that then i guess we need to come to this thread and have the girls yell it at us, lol!

WE DESERVE HEALTH AND HAPPINESS, LADIES! WE ARE WORTHWHILE!!!

Just wanted to share some hopefully exciting news. 2001 I went on anti-seizure medication for what the doctor called "abnormal brain patterns" lol sounds hilarious. These aren't epileptic seizures or anything, I just passed out 2 times in 3 years.

Anyway, been on them since May 2001, By August, I had put on 21 pounds, by September I was diagnosed with depression. Before I started the pills I was 155 at age 21. Now today at 29, I'm 268 (cringing as I type that). I haven't told anyone that number.

I saw a different doctor, and he said that it is okay if I go off the pills. He also believes that by going off of them, I will lose weight and my depression will get better. I would then be able to go off my anti- depressants. I'm am praying so hard that I can get back to normal.

Anyone else know of anyone who has had a similar experience? It has been so long, that I forget what it was like to be normal sad.gif

Kelly - I don't know anyone who's had that experience, but that's great that you'll be able to stop taking the meds, and hopefully that will help you with your weight loss as well :) And you have a little bit of time before your wedding, so hopefully this will help you feel more like yourself as well - definitely wishing good things for you :)

Hey ladies. It's been a while since I've3 checkedc in with everyone. I was out all weekend celebrating my birthday with my family and getting into trouble :)! I have good news to report....hopped on the scale and am 6 pounds down! Not much, but it is one heck of a start! I'm loving the cardiac diet, it's really kicking my metabolism back up, and I feel so much better on a daily basis ow than I did before. I also think that my newly found excercise regimen is actually helping me resist my urge to chainsmoke? Hmm....LOVE IT!

Going to give the CYWT diet again....probably within the next week. Just want to stabilize my exercise habits before I throw another major change in lifestyle my way..we'll see how everything goes!

What's the name of the store (if you don't mind sharing)? I'm guessing it's probably just a independent store, but it would be great if it was a chain :)
Here is the link to the bridal store.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
