Lisaloo- I understand about the crap food! I started the Cheat your way thin that Kathy is doing and had to modify it because it really cuts out your carbs and I thought I was going to die! I LOVE CARBS! I have a secret love affiar with pasta and bread that will never change. SO I cut down my portions and I don't eat junk food or sweets (not very often) and I try to stay away from fast food. I still follow some of the guidelines like I do eggs for breakfast and chicken for lunch... I also stepped up the exercise and stopped drinking pop (that was my weakness, Mt Dew!)

I am looking for something else to change in my routine though without giving up carbs entirely, I need to step up the progress a bit.

Okay ladies, I'm going to change it up a bit again.

Did anyone purchase/make bridal party t-shirts? I picked up some iron-on letters and 2 t-shirts today for me and my MOH. My MOH is 5'4'' and skinny, so I picked her up a fitted tee. When I looked at the sizes, there was no way I was going to fit into the shirt.

So I picked up a regular tee for myself. I finished them this afternoon, but my tee looks awful. I hate it! It's so big and not cute at all. It's a man's tee with girly writing on it.

I've looked on line and all the cute stuff if sooooooo small. I see the size charts for these tees and they say XL fits sizes 12-14. I'm not where near that size. I would like to buy/make something cute, but I can't find anything that fits!

Do you have any suggestions? I might just end up scrapping the whole idea in the end. It's not necessary, just something I would have liked. It's a good thing that whole lot only cost me $20.

I SOOOOOOOOOOOO love pumpkin and so making the recipe. A few questions though, what size of can was the pumpkin and was it pure pumpkin or pumpkin pie filling?

The recipe calls for the use of one 15oz can Libby's pure pumpkin. This cake really helped me with the cravings for the "crap" food. It was like a special treat at the end of the day for being good.

Did you try a plus-size store? Maybe you could just get yourself a cute black or white t-shirt or tanktop and iron them on that.

I actually picked up a tank for myself from Old Navy (no bridesmaids) and some iron-on letters from Michael's. I'll be attempting to make myself a tank soonly. But I would suggest going to a plus-size store for a t. Men's shirts aren't that flattering for us curvy gals, they're too boxy!

Lisa- If you are like me and can't cut out the carbs then its really hard! But otherwise its a really good diet if you can make it through the first week of no carbs. There is a 3 week priming phase before you can have a cheat day. PM me your email address and I'll send it to you if you want.

I have a couple of different ideas for you. I worked for Vanity for a while, and I know that our shirts went up to a 2XL, which fit my little sister at a size 24. Also, you could check out torrid as well. They have super cute clothes for plus sizes.

On a different note, does anybody have any good diet tricks they could let me in on? I need to lose my last 20lbs of Hyatt weight so I can get back in to my cute clothes, and I'd like to do it before we get our engagement photos done in September. I've hit a plateau and nothing is coming off now sad.gif. Any suggestions?

LIW- I made my own and bought tanks from walmart for $4 each. more info in this thread:http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t44678

Okay so I have many times posted about my Faith 21 purchases. So I wanted to expand a little.

So I have been losing weight about 26 lbs.I originally ordered 1x shirt and 2x shirt. 2x was pretty big, I would think a little bigger than old navy 2x. 1x is also pretty big I would say about equal to the old navy 2x. And then the xl is pretty small, significantly smaller than the 1x, big jump. So since the weight loss the xl fits, but I would say it is more equivalent to a Large at normal stores.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
