Here's the deal...you can basically see my girls. Like, the outline and the "details." LOL. So I called today and explained the situation. They are sending me a new invoice so I can return it to the warehouse. The lady said she doesn't know if they will take it back since it was worn, but if they don't I will raise hell. It's not my fault that its see through! I would have kept it otherwise. I am going to exchange for brown or red I think. Then no booby issues!

If they don't, and you charged it to a credit card, just do a charge back. I don't think that it's unreasonable to expect your goods to not show through a swimsuit!

I own a white swimsuit - It's very well padded on the top and it's lined on the bottom - nothing shows through. I honestly can't remember where i got it, but I think it was from Marshalls, so I know that's not any help.

Are any of you taking ballroom dancing lessons?

Yesterday after our lessons, we notice a man and woman outside the studio... the woman was crying. At first I thought that she and her man were arguing but the man looked passive and more concerned than anything. My fiance thinks that she was feeling extremely self-conscious about dancing, as the woman was quite *curvacious.* John also thought he saw her look at me in surprise when I came out of the studio.

As we were driving away, I saw the owner of the studio and our instructor trying to get her to come into the studio. I wish I had been more perceptive. I'd have told her that if I'm doing it, then she sure as heck can! It's so much fun!! I'm having so much fun that I don't have time to feel self-conscious... plus, it's exercise! My calves ache! LOL

We're not taking any kind of dance lessons for the wedding as I've recently had knee surgery. But if I was, I would never feel like that. I mean, we are who we are, we're all different kinds of shapes and sizes, be proud of who you are! People love you because of who you are, not how you look, and that's what's important. That poor lady! I know how she feels though, I've been through times like that, it's not easy!

Hey ladies!!! OKAY! this is quick but for anyone who is leaving soon, or just cause its summer, get that body glide stick! I forget who wrote the original post about it (God Bless you, I love you) it was wonderful, used it so much. Also, I never have a need for baby powder at home in the hottest heat, but it was needed in Mexico under my boobs with the bathing suit. Standing around and not in the pool, it was hot, and the baby powder/ Gold bond really helped that sticky yuckness. ALSO I have this cheap zinc oxide face sunscreen 45SPF that did not make us break out at all (which is unusual for face). Wear flip flops at the wedding too... just advice... made it easy to dance/ not trip over dress.... and the spanx were comfortable under the dress! Which is great!! More to come, miss u all!

That would be me.cheesy.gif I am glad the Body Glide worked well for you. I have been using it for several years now. Like I said in my original post, I never travel anywhere w/o having it in my bag. Thank you for all the tips, very helpful. I have to get out this week and get some spanx.
Congrats! Looking forward to hearing all the details after you return!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
