This might be an odd question, but after reading the post about spanx, I'd thought I'd ask.

I usually wear spanx in the summer when I wear skirts or dresses, bot because I need something to hold me in, but because I need something to stop my legs from rubbing together and causing chaffing.

I don't want to wear the full body spanx, because the bodice of my dress will hold me in. However, I want something on my legs to keep them from chaffing. I was thinking bycycle shorts, but I was afraid I'd be extra hot in something like that and can't seem to find a spanx type product that doesn't go all the way up over my stomach.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I saw something like bike shorts at Pennington's. They were like Spanx, had the longer legs but only went to the waist.

Spanx makes a set that is bike short length but comes all the way to the bra line on top. I just ordered them! So excited.

My new best friend this summer is also something I have stolen from my fiance's med cabinet. It is called "Anti Monkey Butt" Powder!!! I kid you not, that is the real name. It is a mix of talc and calamine powder. It rocks! Apparently he was using it on his butt before long motorcycle rides... more info than I needed and way more than you needed. He said it is at Wal-Mart!

"Anti Monkey Butt" LOL!!!! That is hilarious, but thanks for the tip!!

I got my bandeau swimdress today! I LOVE it!!!!! I wasn't sure about it, but once I got the thing on (which wasn't easy - they fit sung!) it looked great! Stylish and hides everything I want hidden!!! I think I am going to order another on in blue!!! (I got the black) Thanks to everyone who suggested it!!!

I swear Spanx, Newport News, (and now Anit Monkey Butt) should be paying us comission for al this free advertising!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
