Hmmmm....now I am wondering if I should go a 'step up' from Spanx and go for a corset under my wedding dress....or get one that is sewn inhuh.gif Anyone have experience with corsets?

I would love one to suck in my waist, but I do not want my chest overflowing out the top. A friend of mine, who is big busted, but a lot thinner, said that her wedding dress had one sewn in and she didn't need to wear a bra.

What do you girls think?

I wore a corset style long bodice bra for my first wedding (10 years ago and traditional). I loved it and still have it (although I am not the same size as I was, so I am not sure why I still own it). But, there are a few things to consider...

1. Make sure it has a cup style strapless bra at the top not just that band thing... keep you in check... if you know what I mean

2. If your dress is not the typical heavy satin and you have gone with a flowy style, try it with the dress... may show through because of lacing.

Never seen one sewn in... that would be cool... I wonder how you would lace it.

Lisa, I'm with ya on that one! This whole bra thing sucks. I hate, hate, hate trying to get just the right one. One makes me to saggy, one makes me to pointy, one makes me smushed, one makes me overflow.....and it goes on and on. smile105.gif Ugh!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
