Calling all *Curvacious* women!!

So I have another question for you ladies.

Have any of you gone for the "special" waxing down there? I've been thinking about it but sort of embarrassed to go. I don't have the perfect body in that area (extra skin/fat/whatever you want to call it! lol), so that's why I'm hesitating to go. I've only ever had my legs waxed (at home). I'm not too sure about this one.

Do you mean Brazilian? I've never had the "full" wax...ouch! I wouldn't be embarassed, they are professionals and I am sure they have done it on all shapes & sizes. I'd get a girlfriend to go with you, it will make it more comfortable if someone else does it too, I think.

Brazilian is not as bad as you think. I have done it several times and yes it is uncomfortable but not toooo painful.

Just make sure you are trimmed as short as you can with sissors before you get it done. You can wear a thong and they will move it around or have you move it to get access!

Do it once and you will wonder how you ever lived with the forest!

Oh and I am a size 18-20 so I agree they are professional and size is not an issue!

Your FI will go crazy when he sees it! Also when I started tanning I got a heart sticker and put it on while tanning and it leaves a cute little tattoo, try it. Good luck!

Hi ladies! I am a curvy girl too! I got called "thick" a lot in school. Ha! I have been meaning to post, but up to now, just been stalking. But I have enjoyed reading all your thoughts. It is nice to know that not all brides are stick thin. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I am just far from it. I have had issues finding the right undergarments, etc. It took me about a month to find my boostier. But now I have my dress and everything.

My fav stores are NY and CO and Marshalls...they are so great!

I am currently a size 12-14. I am top heavy so with dresses and swimsuits I am 14. Pants a 12.

My wedding dress is a 20. Why do they make wedding dress sizes so funky? But I love Mori Lee! She is my dress! :)

So I was looking at the Newport News Bandeaux SwimDress and I know a few of you have that. What color did you get? And you find they give good support? I am a DD...so need all the help I can get.

Thanks! Great Thread! Thanks for posting!

I wear it with the straps in a bow in the front so I don't get tan lines, and it STILL holds the girls up!!! The suit is the one wear the girl is wearing it in wite, with the little V at the cleavage... such a great suit.... Get it!!!

Ok, I am totally getting it. You said it is pretty true to size, right? So if most of my suits are a 14, you think i will be safe?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
