i think they are pretty true to size. they all fit me a little too big on top, but i happen to be very disproportionate (bottom-heavy), so this is normal for me. the shape fx stuff inside the suits feels like it holds you in and shapes you without feeling too tight or binding.

Hello! I got my newport news tankini that da shoopmies recommended. The top fits wonderfully!! The bottom are too tall in the rise for me. This is typical for me. As I mentioned earlier in the thread I love the Old Navy tops and the bottoms are no good for me.

So yes they are true to size and if anyone wants my size 16 bottoms in the pink color, i am happy to send them to you free of charge. Just PM me your addy.

I also ordered a cute dress from Jessica London. I will let you know how it turns out. It is B/o until 5/31.

I also ordered a pair of Vigoss Jeans from Alloy and they are super cute. it was the patchwork pocket. The rise is a little high on me, but on anyone else it will be super cute. I normally wear long shirt anyways so I am keeping them.

I'm giving away all my secret online shopping places! LOL ErikaJ is buying it all up. If everything I order is out of stock, it's my own fault. wink.gif

I'm glad I can help spread the word.

Wow, ErikaJ, the rise of the jeans are too high? The one thing I love about my Alloy stuff is that they make lowrise because I'm so short waisted! I hate having jeans that sit under my boobs! lol

I swear it is my body. NOT NORMAL.. There is only few inches between my crotch and belly button, so things that say low rise are normal rise on me.

I loved the newport tankini top , very supportive and very flattering, and I have not made up my mind on the flower but i dont mind it too much.

Congrats on the weight loss! That's awesome! I actually ordered from Torrid before and loved the stuff. It's just too annoying with not being able to try on the clothes before you buy them!

I'm a size 14/16/18 depending on the store. I have a big bubble butt that sucks sometimes. Dresses are often a no-go. My wedding dress fits great off the rack except the hips, I will have to take the hip area out as much as possible Skirts and tops are fine. Jeans are IMPOSSIBLE! The only place I can find them is White House | Black Market which is expensive (I buy on sales and clearance only!!).

I LOVE LOVE LOVE NY & Co. They are my go to store for clothes. They have great prices and styles. I've bought about $300 worth of clothes for $75 after sale prices and coupons I get in the mail.

Fyi, there is Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic in Canada. My mom used to live in Kitchener, there is an Old Navy there in the Sunrise Plaza off of Homer-Watson Blvd. I also know there is one in Windsor at the mall...Banana Republic & Gap are at the mall in Kitchener also. I'm not sure where Sudbury is...but look into it! Old navy is GREAT!

I'm trying to lose weight. I'm 5'8" about 210 now, started at about 230 (damn Ice Cream!) I wanna get back down to about 170 at the heaviest by next year. Ideal would be 150-160.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
