Ladies....I'm soo glad I came across this thread.  It's nice to know i'm not the only one out there that's bigger, which I know i'm not, but sometimes it feels like it!! cheesy.gif Glad to have someone to talk to that actually understands!

Lisa....totally understand what you mean about exercise....at times I can be soo motivated and other times I'm not motivated at all....just feel exausted from the bustle of everyday living.  btw, congrats on losing the weight and good luck with the Biggest Loser Comp!!

Ooooh, sexy!  There is actually a product that you can get that works very well..it is called Body Glide and is often found in running stores.  Helps stop chafing with runners, and certainly helps with the thigh issue.

LOL I just clicked that link too.   Way too sexy for me!   I'll vote for Body Glide also -- Running Room carries it.

I got a major heat rash under my arms in the Dominican after 3 days (mind you I NEVER had any relief from the heat, not even at night).  I bought Body Glide and it worked like a charm.  I applied it every morning, and then again just before supper (just in case).

UPDATE:

thanks to my brother, he has gotten me to a point where I can participate in a full 1 hour cardio kickboxing class!  His Martial Arts Club puts on a "bag" course.  We punch, kick, squat, and do situps for 1 hour straight.  I have pushed myself beyond my limits (something I learned because of my brother), and I even encourage my skinny friend to keep going.  I sweat like a Mother F***** but thankfully the class only has 3 others so I don't feel like a complete idiot.

My eating habits are still terrible, but at least I've improved one aspect of my life.  I had a sedentary lifestyle.  I have a sit down job, then came home and either watched TV or went on the computer.  I seriously NEVER moved.  Now I couldn't be happier!

You have to start somewhere, no matter HOW SMALL it is!!  For me it was 20 minutes of working with my brother once a week!  How embarrassing!  But now look at me go!  Now I'm up to 2 hours a week of hard core workouts!

Thanks for listening guys!  I have only told 3 other friends/family in my life.  People have stopped believing in me so I tend to keep more quiet around most people.

I know what you mean about how people stop believing in you.  I have started so many times to get on the right track and I never stick to it, so I guess I can't blame them for being sceptical when I talk about trying again.  I think I really need a kick in the butt to get going, just have to figure out what "kick" works for me!  :)  It's awesome how your brother helps you, clearly he believes in you.  Keep it up!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
