I actually really like the look of my dress without straps so I don't really want to add them, but I need better support for the girls. There is some plastic boning in there already, but I know from previous experience that it loses its shape when it's warm and supporting that kind of weight.

I have a corset that I tried with it, but it comes up too high in the back, its heavy (aka hot!) and makes sitting down an uncomfortable experience.

I've looked around but strapless anything in that size is hard to find. Has anyone found a good strapless bra for larger chested ladies?
Cacique (sold at Lane Bryant) has, hands down, the best strapless bras that I have ever worn. They only go up to DD, but I strongly suggest you get over to a Lane Bryant and try one on. I normally wear an E and a C was actually a little big on me. Obviously I don't know exactly how well endowed you are, but it's worth a try if you are near one of their stores.

Thanks Susie Q! I so wish I was back in Turks right now, ha! I realize it is so much my routine at home that makes me just not want to do things. On our trip I lost 8 pounds just because I wanted to be outside & we walked so much & swam so much. Here I feel like I am stuck in the house/work all the time.

oooh i second the cacique bra recommendation! i bought two of these: http://www.lanebryant.com/cacique/br...65-82099182030 before my wedding to use during the week with sundresses and such and they *really* hold the girls up! i can't say whether you'll find one that comes down low enough in the back to wear with a wedding dress ... these have a clear panel for the middle of the back, but that's not good enough for a wedding. good luck!

Did you wear the bra totally strapless? And you didn't need to constantly hike it up? Haven't started shopping for sundresses just yet but will definitely need some support under there!!

Or.....if I could just get motivated enough to work out more, I could get the girls down to a full C/small D if I could get to my goal weight and then this would be as much of an issue!! But nah...that would be too easy, lol.

yeah heather, i still wear both bras all the time, whenever i don't want straps to show. i am old and saggy-boobed, so going braless is never an option for me, lol! i am between a C and D and this is literally the first strapless bra (other than a full corset-type longline bra) that i haven't had to hike up. NEVER. not once. and when linds met me in chicago, she kept remarking, "those are some perky boobs, cougs" and i kept insisting it was just the bra, haha (it was!). THIS was the bra! cheesy.gif

ladies!!! I've missed you all so much! Life is crazy right now and I barely have time to check on BDW at home or at work.

I can't offer any bra advice as my aunt made my dress and sewed one in for me.

great to hear about a great bra cougs - it's nice to see that there's something good out there finally!!

I am so struggling with weight right now, it's ridic. I want to lose, but I just can't get motivated enough to do it. UGH! Am I the only one in the boat?

You are def not the only one Lisa!! And I feel like such a lazy ass because I blew it the first time around, and now that I had to reschedule my wedding it's like I've been given a second chance at this, so you think I'd be jumping all over the opportunity!! I really need to do something about it tho.....

If I can have someone tell me how perky my boobs are while I'm wearing a strapless bra I'd be a happy camper!!! I'll need to check this bra out!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
