hah! and then the thought of working so hard to lose the weight just to put it all back on via pregnancy ... ugh!

but yeah, i understand ladies. i'm sooooo out of shape right now i couldn't imagine being pregnant, especially in the summer ... i thought the heat was gonna kill me yesterday. i know i need to do something about it NOW. my husband as well. he went golfing yesterday and texted me to say he's not golfing another round until he loses at least 20 lbs. he was dying.

and ugh ... obese, pregnant, AND almost 40? that's like a triple whammy of high-riskocity (yes i just made up a word). i'm not trying to conceive yet, but my advanced age sure is making me run out of time to "get healthy beforehand."

yeah, there is the re-gaining the lost weight factor which totally sucks. but probably worth it in the end!!

the good thing about being a bit bigger, is that you tend to gain less weight while pregnant (if you aren't silly about it, eating banana splits every night!!)

I know exactly how you feel Lisa, and I can't even imagine getting pregnant right now while I'm still overweight. And because I already have a son from a previous relationship I think that maybe I'm not as motivated as I would be if I didn't have children at all.

Since I didn't lose the weight the first time around, I'm hoping that our wedding being postponed is my second chance to get this right and finally drop the weight. I just need to get to the right place mentally......

OK, question for you ladies. I'm wearing a 36J size bra these days, and I ended up buying a strapless gown (easy to do considering most of them are freaking strapless! WTH? evil.gif).

I actually really like the look of my dress without straps so I don't really want to add them, but I need better support for the girls. There is some plastic boning in there already, but I know from previous experience that it loses its shape when it's warm and supporting that kind of weight.

I have a corset that I tried with it, but it comes up too high in the back, its heavy (aka hot!) and makes sitting down an uncomfortable experience.

I've looked around but strapless anything in that size is hard to find. Has anyone found a good strapless bra for larger chested ladies?

Hi girls! So, back from the wedding and got our pictures but I so wish I had lost more weight. Although our pictures are great quality some of them I just hate because of how I look. We also decided to go off Birth control but I too am scared of getting pregnant while I am so overweight. My husband & I have started working out 3 days a week since we got home but it's so difficult! The worst part is that I lost 8 pounds while we were on our wedding trip because we walked so much...now that I'm home I just feel like I don't have the time & I'm so stressed! UGH! Sorry I just had to vent...

Ladies do not get stressed about getting pregnant. It's possible to not gain so much weight while being pregnant. Just walk. Not only will it help with the weight but it was also make it easier to give birth. Sure you'll have cravings but know that whatever you are eating you are giving your baby. and we all want our babies to be healthy!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
