Hello my lovelies! It's been a while..I've been getting busy with grad school applications and whatnot, so it seems like forever since I've touched base with anybody! Forgive me, I'm about to hijack the thread for a minute.

I AM SOOOO FRUSTRATED! Andy and I have been married for almost a month, and we are yet ot get our photos back from our photographer. WTF, is it that hard to drop off the disks to me? Christ, mail them if it's that big of an issue. I'm getting ansy and oh so sick of waiting.

On an unrelated topic, I know that I'm supposed to post this is the starfish passing thread, but if I'm going to do this, I want it to go to one of you ladies. I have a beautiful topaz colored starfish bouquet charm who I've taken to calling Philbert. He was my little piece of DW when we were married last month, and I'd love for him to actually get to go on a trip and be somebody's something borrowed. I'll send a journal with him, the only thing I ask is that you send him back when you're done with him, as my mother will be using him in her vowel renewal this fall. If you're interested, just email me!

Oh!!! There is a bride on our Feb bride thread that actually is a April bride and she is a sweetheart. I know some of us crazy brides are hoping to crash her wedding... Krista baird is her name.

Hey ladies! We're back! We had an amazing time, and I did feel beautiful! ....but we didn't get to do a TTD afterall sad.gif

 

We had to use the TTD day with our photog to do ALL of our wedding photos so we ran out of light by the time we got to the TTD part. See my post in the "Blau Varadero" thread in the Cuba section to explain why. We had BIG problems with the hotel on our wedding day.

PhillyBride09: You can get high/wider calf boots at Naturalizer. Not sure if you have that store, but I know it exists in the States and you guys usually have a nicer selection than us here in Canada. You have to actually ask the salesperson for the wide calf size. I would love to buy a pair but they're pricey and usually offered only in winter.. they don't seem to make spring/fall boots, but you might have some luck!

 

I also have wide calves and bought a pair of nearly knee-high boots from Aldo.. I can squeeze into them because they're latex and stretchy.. but trust me they don't look good enough to wear with a tight pant! The heel is much too high so be sure to check that out.. cuz if you can't walk in them, what's the point, right!?

 

We are back from our vacation to Mexico.. and I haven't been to the gym yet. Called in sick today and going to go to the gym this PM for at least 45 mins to do some cardio and get back into things. Haven't weighed myself yet to see the damage the trip did.. scared!!

 

FI finally proposed, got my ring (see engagement story topic called : "I finally got a ring!") to see my ring and story if you're interested!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
