How long did it take you to get your wedding confirmation number? I am starting to worry. My TA booked my wedding date with the hotel almost two weeks ago and she says not to worry but I didn't get any confirmation yet. Should I try contacting the hotel myself of wait untill I hear from them?

Has your TA heard back from them? It's weird, because they say on the site you should hear within 10 days.. I know a lot of people are commenting on how busy the WC is at the resort.. maybe that's just it.. april is supposed to be super busy for DW's! Good luck!!!

 

I just tried to book a date and there are like NONE left for January.. how likely is it that people requested dates that they aren't going to use and I will be able to get one?

I don't know if it is really the case, but my TA told me that the hotel was going through every date booked to see if all of them had been confirm. If not they were releasing them. My TA pulled alot of strings to get me one. Don't give up.

Hi, I definately agree with cherylMc, I had a date but no time confimed, I emailed the wedding sales team and explained I had a confirmed date but no time although I had requested a late time slot and 5 days later had a new date confirmed with the requested time slot. Well pleased.

I booked mine on April 1st (with deposits and I heard back from my travel agent with my booking number on today (a month later) Riu gives you 90days to confirm though, so you should be ok :) This was through Sunquest.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
