He actually came home tonight and said, "I need you home Friday by 5:30, I have made arrangements for the kids and we're going out on a date." Which isn't very often...so I am pretty pleased. I hope he goes above and beyond on Friday....since I will be all gussied up from getting my BD pictures taken. I already told him that his gift will probably be ready when he comes back into town.

Oh YAY!! He has something planned at least!! That's so great! I guess you can pass on slashing all those expensive tires now! lol

Trying to HAVE a relationship being parents is so tough....we've just about lost ourselves this past year or so.

 

I feel your pain. But whats more important is that HE feel it....I can definitely understand your being pissed and hurt. I just saw that he has made some replacement plans for y'all..so yeaaaa!! Good on him! He gets it, hopefully.

 

I just called our sitter (she's a girl I actually used to sit for when I was a teen), and I'm waiting to hear from her about Friday night. Just doing dinner and a movie can be so huge for us....(besides, I'm dying to see the Wolverine flick..huge tomboy, and who doesn't wanna see two hours of Hugh Jackman rippling all over the screen?)

 

Vent away anytime..believe me, you KNOW I understand. ((hugs))

i love that you'll be all gussied up from your earlier BD shoot! i assume he has no idea about that, so he'll just be thinking how sexy you look ... and hmmm ... if you have a sitter that night one of your BD outfits can actually be put to "use" ... then your BD book won't just be hot fantasies, but also bring back *memories* of one incredibly HOT "anniversary!"

Two hours and counting....I will offically be on my first date (alone) with FI in like a year and a half. I am excited. My make-up isn't lastning as long as I hoped....sitting in Atlanta 5 o'colck traffic at 3 isn't the best for make-up. And my shoot was at 11. so....maybe a little touch up. Talk to you girls in a few.

So, this afternoon I told my FI that he better treat me like a Princess tonight.....well, Ironically....we went to Medieval Times and watched Knights joust and fight, eat with our fingers, and scream and cheer for the Red and Yellow Knight....which SUCKED, he lost everything he did....pretty much. Other then having a sucky Knight it was a awesome anniversary date. I had never ever been and I must say, totally worth the gajillion dollars it takes to go. I must recommend the Dragon Slayer drink if you ever have the chance to go watch the show there. Since we are all picture whores.....below are a few from tonight. ENJOY!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
