Has anyone used their IHome for a mini reception? We only have 20 people coming to our weding (incl us) so I don't know if I should go out and but the $150.00 Logitech one if my IHome will work...decisions decisions!

          Hi!
I am also looking for a good docking station. I didn't even think of the microphone part. I was looking online though and found this one...it is kind of big though.

              THANK YOU!

Just wanna let you ladies know that the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers were phenomenal! Plus, they are wireless AND they have a 14-hour battery life AND they keep your iPod charged AND they support any and all iPods including iPhones ... and it has a remote and it's affordable!!! It's what we used and it gives great sound and is so simple to use. It gets my vote 100% for anyone looking for a small, portable, wireless beach-ready iPod dock!!

We went to Target and got a JBL portable speaker for our cocktail hour. I think we paid either $100-150. The sound quality is amazing and we use it at home all the time!

Wondering if newer brides can post their experiences with portable speaker doc's.  I highly doubt I am going to spring for a DJ or the resorts stuff... If I'm going to spend the money, I'd rather get something I can keep.

Any brides have suggestions for portable speakers?
