Importance of videographer

Recommended Posts

I wanted a videographer too, but it just seem to be WAY outside of the budget for just 20-30minutes of video. I think it would be nice to have something to show people who couldn't make it, but photos I feel would be enough for me. At times, things are just not the same, even in video, when you weren't actually present. So I decided it was just not worth it for me (well, at least that's how I comfort myself that I can't afford one)

Getting a video is a personal decision, for sure. If you decide to go ahead and get one, I would highly recommend Roberto of Rhino Visuals whose work stands out as a premier videographer here in teh Mayan Riviera!

Check out his website here.....http://www.rhinovisuals.com/ or see some on facebook here......https://www.facebook.com/#!/Rhinovisuals.

Happy planning and all the best!

I can recommend both playaweddings and rhinovisuals.  If you decide to go with video make sure you get someone who is professional and knows how to work with your photographer, too.  It's terrible when you get someone that doesn't communicate or consider where your photographer is in order for both to stay out of the photos/video.

Best of luck ladies!

That's great advice, mandjphoto! about the photographer + videographer working together to ensure everyone gets great shots + angles to work from - to deliver that excellence in the end product - that the wedding couple deserve and are expecting from the professionals they've hired.........win / win / win all around :)

I'm still going back and forth with myself about a videographer.  For me, great photos reign supreme, and I don't want a videographer who is going to get into conflict with my photographer for good shots, etc.  I can't see us wanting to watch our video (I hate watching myself!) but other brides keep reporting that they loved having both photos and video! Decisions, decisions!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
