Help! What 2 do next?

Recommended Posts

Well I have booked everything and paid, but I am not sure what to do next. I am going with the standard package, but will have a flower and cake upgrade. My dress came in yesterday, I picked it up and my FI has all of his clothing. Now I'm like what do I do next? We only have 4 people going, so there is no big reception, and no oot bags because we are paying for guests to get spa treatments and a candle light dinner. I just feel like I'm missing something. Any ideas or help would be great!

do you have rings?? writing your own vows??

You could put together some music selections (if you are planning on using your own music) and your documents will need to be sent to ROR to arrive one month before your wedding (if it was me, I would do this early to mid june).

Other than that...sounds like you are all set. Just sit back and enjoy.

Thanks guys! I think that I went full speed in the beginning now there isn't much to do. I sent the documents 2 weeks into Feb., and they have contacted me already to verify everything. I may write my own vows becuase it sounds so cool! I guess with all of the free time I'll just stay in the gym. :0)

To echo the others, I would say that you should consider yourself lucky and can be thrilled that you are "done" your planning phase already! Are you having an AHR? Maybe you could plan a casual Send-Off or something like a Friends & Family BBQ for after you return. Might be a fun way to share your experience with those that didn't attend...just a thought if you want to stay busy!

Half the appeal of a DW is that it can be a super low-stress way to go...how great that you can just ENJOY the rest of your engagement time with your FI!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
