What a dilemma!!!

OK, you would think the seemstress would be excited about you needing another fitting. You have to pay her each time don't you? And, she could charge you emergency fees if she wanted to! B word!

I think you should keep going. I think the smile on your face as you walk towards the man of your dreams with the body of your dreams would make any extra alterations worth it!

Good luck!

Needless to say if I do need more fittings I'm not going back to her. It was funny when I started getting heated and I told her that I don't appreciate her comments. My mother piped up and said "Wev'e been through a lot. Her father had a heart attack" My dad did have a heart attack a few weeks ago (he doing really good now BTW). But it was too funny she had to explain my annoyance. I'll just go to who Jay is using to tailor his suit.

Awww I just read my sweetie's post. Now can everyone see why I'm marrying this guy! I love him sooooo much. And I think having a supportive partner like Jay is key...He doesn't sabotage me, follows my plan with me, and exercises with me. He is just the best. Wait...did I just hijack my own post. lol.

Congratulations Karen, that is a fantastic accomplishment! I know exactly how you feel!

I also like the Core plan better, you are so much less hungry it makes it a lot easier to continue on the plan!

Right now I'm kind of doing my own ww plan. I keep track of my points for the day (as best I can) but I also try not to eat a lot of carb foods, the main ones I avoid are bread and pasta. I'll still eat crackers sometimes and things like yogurt and fruit which have carbs, but don't make me super hungry. Its amazing, I've been doing this the past couple weeks and exercising and I am so much less hungry, just by trying not to eat bread & pasta, those are really the only carbs I don't eat. But I find I don't really snack anymore, I don't get hungry like I used to. I'm not so strict with myself that I won't have a piece of bread if I really want it, I just try not to have it as a staple in my diet.

ok, enough rambling. I've still got some pounds to drop before my wedding and I figure if I lose enough weight, I'll reward myself by buying a new wedding dress, I would never let my dress stop me from reaching my goal and neither should you!

First of all Karen, congratulations on the weight loss. That is a huge accomplishment. You should def continue on with your goal, and you should not let a nasty sales lady ruin your happy time. Screw her. Sorry but that's how I really feel. LOL. And Jason is amazing and def a keeper and you are going to have the most romantic wedding w/just the two of you and it will be all the more special knowing that you lost those last 4 pounds that you wanted to shed.

~I never heard of the core plan but I need to get on it immediately!

Aww thanks girls! Hearing (or reading rather) all the kudos and encouragement is sooo nice especially after trying on swimsuits and clothes all afternoon. Looking for clothes for all the events we have coming up. Any how I can't say enough about the Core Plan.

Meester Jason and I just had a great Core dinner....chicken and steak shish kabobs, brown rice and bulgar blend, and cukes, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms marinated in light balsamic vinegarette....soooo yummy.

And yes I'm soo blessed to be marrying such an incredible man like Jay. He's sweet, kind, compassionate, and totally hot! lol.

Karen - did your hit goal weight?

I know it was a long time ago when you last posted but I'm curious as to what happened!!!!!

And congrats on doing it - you are my hero! I just re-hit 5 pounds down... so 10 more to go. It's so hard to keep it up and maintain it (for me that is). I'd love to hear your story!

And I was so not helpful to you at all Karen when we were at the falls, pointing out all the yummy candy stores, and wonderful smells wafting through the air! Well at least we ordered a kind of healthy alcoholic beverage, and the celery stick well you can't go wrong with that, lol.

Seriously, Karen is beautiful, and she is so slim, so my guess Kash would be she had to have met her goal, because she truly is the perfect weight, with a great figure.

Sadly Ladies, I am not at my goal. I was 3 pounds away from it on my wedding day. Now I'm about 9 pounds away. I'm not going to make any excuses. I haven't been exercising regularly and I haven't been faithful to my eating plan all the time. I think Ive gotten tired of watching everything I eat and maintaining the exercise regime. For some reason losing the first 53 pounds was easy or easier but these last few pounds have been a B@#ch to get off. I think part of the problem or maybe all of the problem is mental. Not only being afraid of success...making goal can be scary. But I also know that I look pretty good and feel pretty good. My weight is a healthy BMI right now, my blood pressure is down, i don't get low blood sugar episodes as often. So losing those last few pounds would be for cosmetic purposes. I'm a size 10 now. I used to be a 18 creeping into a size 20. However, I guess if I lose more weight, I would have more of a cushion for when we get pregnant. I'm just going to keep going to the meetings and keep trying.

So in conclusion, I know I'm not a failure. I've lost a lot of weight and kept it off for 4 years. I'm healthy and look good. Its just going to take me a little while more. Kelly! You are soo beautiful. Thanks for the compliments and thanks for calling me slim! lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
