Baby-

I just wanted to tell you how much I love you. You are my entire life and I feel bad this is all happening.

The one thing you donâ€t ever have to worry about is me. Iâ€m right beside you here and feel the same stress you do. All the work and effort youâ€ve put in to making this a successful event is being challenged right now during this crazy time. Iâ€m sorry. If all else fails………donâ€t ever forget you have me for the rest of your life and no matter what happens………weâ€re going to be together. Weâ€re not the only ones going through this right now. There are thousands more.

Iâ€m optimistic things will improve and if they donâ€t- weâ€ll come up with a plan B that will be equally as nice.

Hang in there. This is completely out of our control and we just have to trust it will work itself out. I love you more because of all of this. You will be my wife regardless and we will make our plans accordingly to go celebrate.
VERY sweet! I think we can all read it and imagine that's what our FIs are thinking (even if they can't word it that well - lol wink.gif). Thanks for sharing :)

ajs, your fiance is the sweetest.

jaimelynne, your friend mentioned she could tell you which masks were best ... has she? i'm looking for ones that are not only effective, but that also will photograph well in bright sunlight, LOL! (ok come on, anyone who doesn't take advantage of that photo op is crazy. we will all remember this for the rest of our lives, and the true story of our weddings wouldn't be complete without a nod to the swine flu. i'm actually considering a pig bride and groom cake topper now! LOL)

So just keep in mind if you do go to Mexico still, that your insurance will do absolutely nothing if God forbid someone does get sick.

I am not trying to scare people, I just think as much as this may be a hyped up disease, that this is just another thing to keep in mind.
that is ridiculous and is like saying they won't cover you for lung cancer if you smoked despite the warning labels on cigarette packs. i find it hard to believe. could you please post a link to at least one reliable source where you've seen this?

I will try find the link, I was reading about it this morning and just saw it on the news now...let me try look. It is kind of ridiculous, but insurance companies sometimes make stupid decisions. ok I am off to find a link to this

Oh my laughs Lisa, I love you (whoops, is it too soon). I was thinking of something similar, maybe some nice pics of us all washing our hands together, miming a cough while everyone backs away... so many possibilities.

BTW ~Some countries are being affected differently b/c they have universal health care or a different health care systems.... As we remember that there are many people on here from different countries. :)
In the US insurance companies can't "choose" to arbitrarily stop covering you for something without notice. If you have out of network coverage you have it unless they expressly tell you that they are removing the coverage from your benefits package. They still cover you when you engage in an illegal activity and get hurt (i.e. a DUI that results in an accident)...

exactly what i was thinking, but cabobride said in canada AND the US. although i can totally see not covering us IN mexico as a possibility. i guess i should look into that with my provider.

glad i could provide a few laughs. i was really strong until today (i guess because i didn't think there was any way i'd be effected with my wedding still a whole month away), but i kinda unraveled today and needed to laugh badly.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
