No it is Barbados - but I don't want to go lol

Yeah I have but it's too late - apparently the hotel they wanted to put us in have "strict" rules! personally I think my TA is a lying bastard and is getting a massive kick back from the barbados lot. I asked him and he denied it lol

He tried to charge me about £500 more than he has and I said fuck off give me my money i'm going to virgin lol funny how he then matched the virgin price.

I mean he has rang me about 20 x asking for all our names again! then asking stupid questions but when I ask the details of the wedding he says i'll get back to you tomorrow.

I said look I defo need 4 seats and 3 rooms so he said ok lol I said one of my mates is cancelling her son but she will need to ring you to confirm everything. She rang him 5 mins later and he said oh don't worry marie has changed your booking!! I mean WTF! lol I thought fuck if i'd known he'd do that i'd have cancelled FMIL's months ago lol

Hey Ladies... World Community Grid is now doing work with flu strains. For those of you who are unaware, this is an program that you can download and while your computer is idle, it uses your computer's power to compute possible solutions to health problems (like vaccine possibilities and such). It also does AIDS and other diseases, I believe. It's basically a way for you to help accelerate medical research without donating money.

Yes, I saw that MarieSam~! I am in Texas and I can only imagine how my "on the fence" guests will react. It did say that she had long term serious health issues though, but the media probably won't mention that. Also, she pretty much lived on the Texas/Mexico border. Ughhh!!! I am feeling sick today...sore throat and sore lymph nodes-hope its not the piggy flu!

she had underlying chronic health issues ... that could mean anything. i refuse to pay attention to any more news. because of jaimelynne's "two weeks left" thread i am now suddenly panicking about how much i have left to do! time has totally slipped away from me and i have none left to spare on swine news!

Ok let's all take a deep breath, sorry I riled up the fire with that post. I am obssessively checking yahoo all the time for the latest stories. *sigh* I need to stop!

Despite this news, I think the good thing is that a lot of experts have already said the flu isn't any worse than the regular seasonal strains. There are so many articles that state this in the past days, and now that they are no longer asking schools to shut down when there are cases, this supports the lack of severity of the strain even more. So hopefully the nation/world will take this news in stride and keep in mind that there are thousands of deaths from the normal flu bug every year. *lets hope*

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
