I am curious...I love your bouquet it's daisies and it's simple...can I ask how much it was?? maye quoted me $125 but that was in the beginning when she didn't even know what I wanted. I have asked her for a more accurate quote but I thought I would ask you too. :)

Michelle, this is 2 months late I'm so sorry I don't know how I missed this but to answer your question I actually had all roses 50 roses to be accurate, I didn't do any of my flowers through the hotel just because Mariana quoted me way to much I believe it was around $250 for that bouquet.
I found an outside vendor and they came to around $110 I believe

Edyta - you mentioned you had a trio - a harpist, pianist, and vocalist. Was wondering if you have their contact info at all? I'm getting married this May and have no clue what to do for the ceremony music!! I also contacted Happy Moreno - what a nice woman! Thanks for all the details you put on the blog - it's help immensely!

The trio was organnized through mariana at dreams so sorry but I don't have their info..I just told mariana i needed someone and she arranged it for me...which hotel r u getting married at?

We're getting married at La Playa Grande - they're not really known for their weddings, but its where we bought a timeshare years ago. The wedding coordinator there has been an absolute headache, and she was recently fired!! I just found out today she was officially replaced, but now we're running out of time. Do you still have Mariana's contact info at all? I'm not sure if she'd be willing to help me since we're not getting married at Dreams, but its worth a shot and I'm a bit desperate. I just don't really want ipod music for the wedding march. Thanks again for all the info on your posts. We also went with Juan Carlos to take the wedding photos. He has a great website and was very friendly over the phone and he took such lovely photos on your wedding day - they were really my favorite from all of the other couple's albums. Thanks again for your help!! I wasn't sure you'd still be checking still site!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
