ErikaJ that is a great suggestion :)

My FI saw this post when I was reading the comments his eyes got so big I thought he was going to get upset but he laughed it off. He goes well I dont want to do TTD because I dont want it to ruin your hair and makeup :) HAHAHA He told me to keep everything above my chin dry. We will see wink.gif

This is SO true. My mom was so upset at the idea of a TTD session, but she was much better once it sounded like the purpose wasn't to ruin the dress. I used my real wedding dress and it's perfectly fine now. (She loves the pics by the way.)

I also agree with others who have said to just stop telling details.

Ruin the dress? Honey, my dress was black at the end of the night. The next day we woke up at the crack of dawn and I wore it in the water and the surf totally cleaned it. I wore it again at our AHR, and people couldn't believe how perfect it looked.

Don't listen to any of them...just nod and smile and then do what you want. It is your day. :) But definitely trash the dress! The beach is the perfect place. It will just get clean. And if you don't plan on wearing again, then who cares, trash it! Get your monies worth! I sure did!

These aren't even my pro pics...I haven't gotten those yet. My dad came on the shoot with us and took these.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
