My questions is.....are there any brides who did a ttd in water and had their dress acually trashed so badly that they couldn't wear it again?
I don't know if mine would be considered "unwearable" but the bottom is very dirty and the dirt refuses to come out. I swam in my dress then accidentally dropped the hem in the dirt. The dirt puffed up and landed on part of the dress so now the hem and bottom are dirty. When I got home I took it to a cleaner but because of the beading on my dress their machines would potentially tear the beading off. My dress is has big enough dirt spots that I would not even sell my dress at this point until I can try to clean it some other way. As for water stains, fabric being ruined, etc nothing else ended up badly.

Thanks for the info!! I forgot to mention that we are getting married at the Grand Palladium Punta Cana - so it's actually an extra 400 for the ROV that we are getting, and then we are moving to Dreams Palm Beach for our honeymoon - so I guess I could contact their photographer to see what he can do? What do you think?

Has anyone combined their Boudior with their TTD? A friend of mine suggested it since i'm doing the BD down there as well as the TTD. She thought it'd be pretty cool if we did the TTD and then i took off my wet dress and had my new hubby watch the BD shoot?

that would be cool...but then it wouldn't be as much of a surprise? I know the final pics would be amazing and obviously he will love watching the real thing, but maybe it would take away from it some. Also when I did mine I was nervous at first and I don't think I could have done them in front of him.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
