Help!! Where is the bast place in Jamaica to get married???

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies!

I'm getting married in Jamaica in 2011 but I never been to Jamaica and I have no idea on where to start!

I'm supose to have around 30 guest. I would like a 5* resort (not an adult only as children are coming) not far from the airport. I would like to have my reception on the beach and I would also like to have a private reception after on the beach or in a reception room. Does somebody know if it's possible to have a long private reception, let's say till 2am...and if yes, around how much does it cost?

I'm looking for a resort where I can find a jaccuzi on my suite balcony...it's like a dream!!! oh, and also ocen view. hihi Do you think I'm asking way to much or there's a resort out there that would be perfect for me??

One last question: Is it possible to have a price around 1500$ in April for a group of 30 poeple at a 5* resort from Halifaxhuh.gif

Thanks a bunch and I can't wait to hear your advice and I would love to hear your wedding story wink.gif

Hi,

I am from Canada as well, and I'm going to ROR in January 2010 for my wedding. It is a 5*, AI, children are welcome and there are jaccuzis on balconies (Deluxe Wing). Marriage can be celebrate on the beach, you can have your reception on the beach side or the pool side or in a reception room. You can basically have everything you want as long as you pay for it. The only thing is that I don't think that you will get $1500.00/p. for this resort sad.gif There is alot of great resorts in Jamaica and I am sure you will find the perfect resort for you and that you will have the time of you life planning your wedding!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
