So I'm not sure if there is another thread on this, but I don't know if anyone else has experienced the same thing from David's Bridal.

Ever since I purchased my wedding dress there I have been bombarded with mail from various photographers, floral shops, venues to host my reception. And it doesn't stop there. I think i get about 10 emails a day from different places as well bridal expos, plan your wedding, buy dresses, how about those tux's. And lastly now I'm getting phone calls for expos, flower places, kitchen pots and pan demonstrations... I got a little fed up with all these things and I asked a few of the places that called me by phone where they got my name.

They said that they had received it from David's Bridal. I'm a little annoyed. I don't know I mean thanks but no thanks. I just wonder when these things are going to stop or how to go about getting my name removed from these lists.

I'm definitely disappointed and know that anything else for my wedding I'm buying elsewhere.

Yeah, we get the same thing. Phone calls, emails. I have been telling eveyone that calls to just take us off their list. The phone calls have dropped tremendously in the past month or so. Another thing about Davids is it seems as though after they make the sale (and get their money,) they are less likely to help you and try to make you happy. I tried on a size 4 dress when I went there and the consultant told me I should order a 0 which they didnt have in stock. So based on her recommendation, I ordered and paid for the 0. When I got it, I found it was really tight. There is no way to make the dress any bigger...and they told me they dont do returns. Arrrr...ok, Im done complaining about Davids. To anyone who reads this, I dont recommend them!

I've had problems come and go. First when I went there to look at dresses. I didn't even buy from them and still got awfully spammed. Then with a friends wedding who I'm MOH and our dresses, etc all came from David's. I recently got a phone call from some place asking me to purchase tuxes from them. "Sorry, the men won't be wearing tuxes." So they tried suits then. Nope, none of those either. Goodbye! So annoying!

i get phone calls about "exciting news" from "pink apron bridal preview" ... something i supposedly "registered for and was selected for" ... let me just say that i would NEVER register for anything with the words "pink apron" in it, LOL. everything about the name sounds like it sets the women's movement back about 40 years!

if you can't tell, i loathe pink and i'm not very domestic either, LOL.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
