**Dreams VILLAMAGNA- Post Info Here!**

Recommended Posts

Sandy - this is very helpful. Thank you for all the information! I'll report on these issues when I return as well. I'll admit that many of the posting on TripAdvisor have me concerned, but I think overall out guests will be happy. Only 5 days until I depart : )

I don't have much time right now but we just returned from 10 days out in PV. Our wedding was on the 23rd and it was AMAZING!!!!!! Dreams VM was beautiful, just like all the pics online. Eventhough I was nervous about everything going as planned, due to communication issues with them, it all turned out great. Yolanda was such a great person, she is very calm and eventhough tropical storm Rick was pouring rain all day on Wednesday, she reassured us everything would be fine.....and it was. I will post a full review this week, but I can not say enugh how wonderful it was and how great the staff at Dreams VM is. They all went out of their way to make our day amazing. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask me.

Jen, that's great news!!! Congrats again! Ok I have only one question (for now - LOL). Which area did you have her reception in? I haven't heard from anyone that has had the reception on the terrace. Any suggestions? We are going with a sunset-ish ceremony in February . . .

Nat,

We had our reception right on the beach area right next to the where the ceremony was. It isn't on the actual beach but above, on what they call their "perferred" area. The cocktail hour was right next to the hammocks and beach bar, in between the Oceana rest. and the pool. There are a few areas where you could have the reception...Oceana rest. is outside with a wooden overhead, which is beautiful. Or right where we had the cocktail hour which is not on the beach. But you can see the beach from there. I can send you pics if you want of these areas. Just let me know.

Please do not get cold feet when you read any reviews on Trip Advisor. VillaMagna was fantastic and the wedding staff (Cynthia & Yolanda) were EXTRA helpful even though I didn't have my wedding there. Please let me know if you have any questions!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
