OMG this is by far the best review I have ever read. Palace Resorts was one of the first resorts I have looked at when starting my planning process. I was a bit scared with the drug crimes going on in Mexico and I read some reviews on tripadvisor about poor food and outdated rooms so I looked else where but could never shake the offerings Palace Resorts had. This review gives me the confidence again to start seriously researching this resort again. Thank you thank you for all the helpful information.

Overall Experience: I had my fairy tale wedding at the Moon Palace. I never dreamed of having such a beautiful wedding, I wouldnâ€t have been able to have such a wonderful experience without the help of this forum, and past moon palace brides that have provided us with their experiences. Therefore, I provide this very long review in appreciation for the help I obtained from this forum. I wish all of you Moon Palace brides and all brides in this forum good luck in your planning. This review is not just for the resort, but it is all encompassing, to assist you in your planning if you need it as the resort is just one element of the wedding planning.

NOTE: pictures on this thread are non-professional photos.

P.S. Since this review is very long, I will be posting several posts at once, the last post of this review will have “End of Review.†So that you know my review is over and you can post comments or questions.
Absolutely beautiful! I am now much more excited about our wedding and setting it up. Thank you for sharing!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
