You did a much better review than I did, I can hardly remember most things?! All I keep remembering is which hand to put Johnny's wedding ring on when he put both hands out!!! LOL!! Thanks for the support, hope you have a fantastic reception this weekend in Bradford, talk soon x x x

Congratulations on everything! Your review and pictures were great, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! I'm glad you stayed positive about everything. Did you do a private reception or a semi-private one? I don't think I would have given the ladies at the spa a tip after they went on and on about a tip like it was an obligation. A tip is for great service and to me being uncomfortable is NOT great service.

Hi ladies

Thanks for the lovely comments.

Kinny111 - I had the caprice package so had my hairstyle and nails included in the cost. However, I did pay for the BMs and MIL at $85 per style. A standard manicure and pedicure was included, but I upgraded this to a french polish at $12 per mani and pedi. My mother did our make up so cannot comment on the spa services. I have their pricelist on email if you want. Or you could check out their website Renovaspa - Beauty, Health and Spirit, or email them info.jamaica@renovaspa.com. They are very good at responding! The wedding co-ordinator email address that I used is weddings.ori@riu.com please remember that their interent is not as fast as yours at home so they do take a while in responding. With photo's go to their website for the pricelist which details extra time and images etc best images

OROBride1008 - I packed the sand ceremony kit in heavy duty bubble wrap, then transported it in hand luggage both ways. On the way back I was stopped by customs as they thought it was drugs!! But once I opened my case and showed them it was sand they let us through!

Paul'sSoulmate - The photo's were done by the resort but not the head photog Michael. We had Lincoln instead as Michael had another wedding. He wasn't too bad really, but I think he is still learning. he didn't really give much direction, we had to suggest stuff, but it was no problem and the photo's look good anyways! With the single band thing - I had my engagement ring there, and wore it on a night time, but I didn't want it to get ruined with sun lotion all the days. I wasn't sure if you should wear it on the big day, so didn't. But now I wear both together.

tdmitchell - our reception was at mammee bay and its kind of semi private, though the table next to ours had a family of 4 on it, but not till 9pm when we were finishing up. It was fine for doing speeches too.

JesJess - hey there honey! Glad your party was good, ours was good too. Got to wear my dress again which was good for those who did not come to Jamaica. How are you two doing? Both back at work now? When you see the photo's on facebook, friend request me then you can see some of the others from when we met on the night times! Big kiss to you both x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
