Fiesta Americana wedding pictures

Congratulations Maria! Your wedding looked very beautiful. I love Fiesta Americana Imperial Suite but it was not available for our wedding date.

Can I ask you who was your wedding coordinator? Who was responsible for the gazebo and flowers? Thanks!

I used Christina from Sunset Weddings and that was their bamboo chuppah-they had a couple others, one was white, another wood. They actually used a florist that was cheaper than the Flower Cart and didn't speak any English-I met them through Beth, the owner of Sunset Weddings, who translated for me. The flowers were beautiful, all of them in bloom. I wanted lavender for some of them, so they spraypainted them for me! Does anyone know how to insert pictures?

It was actually quite windy-my maid of honor (my sister) had to hold my veil and thank goodness we had a microphone for the minister, otherwise no one would have been able to hear him. It was also sunny, but not humid, and my guests were happy with the parasols. I would still do it at that site and at that time, everything came out beautifully!

Hi...

I am trying to plan my wedding at the Imperial suite for May 2008!

I would love to have any advice you can give!

Also, did you work w/ a wedding planner? I know the fiesta americana didn't really have anyone that did stuff besides book the location and food there.

Did you hire an outside planner to get all your vendors and stuff and coordinate day of activities or did you do it on your own??

BTW: Your pictures are wonderful!!! :)

You will love having your wedding there, it is so awesome! I used a coordinator named Christina from Sunset Weddings; I used her for cake (from Sweet Dreams, awesome), videography (from helix audio, which was just okay), florist, decorations, dj, classical trio and minister. I did do a lot of leg work myself, but only to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I still have to do my review, but in the meantime, I will message you with other details!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
