Best "Teeth Whiteners"?

Recommended Posts

Hi there, my glorious ladies of the BDW!

Yes, I have drank the coffee. Oh, and yes, I have had the Pepsi I should have done without. All of these things stain teeth, but you don't think about it at the time, right? It's happy-go-lucky until you think about your, drumroll please...WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY!

So, I ask you this....what is the best over-the-counter teeth whitener out there because I want my pearly-whites to look, well, "pearly white" on the day of the wedding! (P.S. If I could afford Lumineers, I would totally get them!)

What sort of whitening strips, bleaches, etc. have you used with success?

Thanks in advance for all tips and insight!

Christie

Crest Whitestrips DO work however...they are fairly short so they don't get all of your teeth. I ended up doing Zoom whitening last summer to try and fix what the whitestrips had done. I got a good deal on the Zoom ($199) and it did make my teeth pearly white although sometimes I do still notice a difference where I used the Crest strips. I also find that the Crest whitestrips make my teeth really sensitive but ....they do work, so if you want something quick, easy, and relatively painless....go for them!

I had the britesmile done and I was not all that impressed!! I guess the natural color of your teeth determine how much they will brighten up. My teeth are more of the gray tone, so they lightened up 7 shades. At least they warn you during your consultation! It's a quick fix that lasts a short amount of time. I think I paid $200.

I have used Crest Whitestrips in the past & they did a decent job, but then Aquafresh came out with thier whitening trays & they are soooo much better. You don't have to mess with the strips coming off your teeth and tasting that nasty gel, you just put the trays on the top & bottom & sit for awhile. I usually start to see results in like 2 days, so after 7 I have a bright white smile. Also, I think you can go to the Aquafresh webiste to get a coupon. Good luck & happy whitening :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
