Just wanted to give a hello to everyone. I am in the very early stages of planning (as in not engaged yet). We have decided to try and purchase our first home this winter and hold off on the engagement untill then. However that being said, we are definite about heading to Mexico when we do say our "I do's" in April/May of 2008. Okay, I realize this is a bit away, but I am a total plan freak and I cant help but research everything to death.

Ive been reading a lot in the forums and have to say that out of any other website this one is hands down the best when it comes to getting real information from real people. The pictures are beutifull and everyones posts are so helpfull. Thanks so much. I'm sure youll be hearing a very lot out of me in the near future.

Jennifer, I have to say everytime I see your sig picture I get super excited for our wedding. I sent it to my FI and he loves it. He's loves to surf so the big waves in the background is perfect for him..

 

Jackie, welcome to the forum. I joined this board a couple of months before I was engaged as well, my best advice is read up,, there is a ton of information on vendors, pricing, hotels you name it to make your wedding be exactly what you dreamed it would be. Best of luck to you..

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
